This book is intended for the reader who has an existing knowledge of the subject and who wishes to consolidate his (or her) knowledge in preparation for an examination. Each chapter deals with a different subject area and gives a pithy summary of the main topics in that area on which examination questions are likely to be asked. This concise summary is ideal for revision purposes. It cuts out those parts of the textbooks which are less important and concentrates on what the reader really needs to know for examination purposes. Given that he has already carried out a serious study of Elements of Banking he should be able to identify and understand all the points that are listed and correlate them in the way that is necessary in answering an examination questions.

The reader should read through the text of the chapter, two or three times if necessary, memorising the main points and testing himself (herself) to be sure that he has mastered them.
